The strength that drives Velo de Flor derives from the deep desire to satisfy the curiosity that characterizes our company. I was unable to resist the temptation to measure the Vermentino grape with a late harvest. The partnership with Vernaccia Flor turned out to be delicately optimal. The grapes are dried on the vine. On the skin of the berries, yeasts called "velo de flor" are formed; subsequent vinification leads to the formation of the flor layer. These microorganisms produce special perfumes and aromas, decreasing volatile acidity, consuming part of the glycerin and triggering oxidative processes. From the production of this particular wine to its marketing, a minimum of 6 years pass.

PERFUME
The sensations expressed on the nose are very long; rich, complex and remarkably persistent. Different categories of perfumes emerge:
flor, yeasts, dried fruit, vanilla, quince, spices, goudron. After the great continuity of olfactory sensations, a soft progression in full retro-olfactory gratification. The secondary and spicy scents follow strongly.
FLAVOR
Body of great elegance and concentration, harmonious flavor of long persistence.
PAIRINGS
Excellent as an aperitif or after meals. Perfect with aged, blue and blue cheeses.
